State Bank of Sikkim
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has brought the State Bank of Sikkim under its regulation.
It is a state-owned banking institution. The bank is an autonomous body working under the Government of Sikkim.
The headquarters of the bank is at Gangtok, Sikkim.
The bank handles the banking services as well as the treasury functions of the State Government of Sikkim.
It was established in the year 1968 seven years before Sikkim was made a part of India in 1975.
