Barack Obama’s book “A Promised Land”          

 

• Former U.S. President Barack Obama has written a book called "A Promised Country."
• It is the first of the two volumes that Obama wrote during his time as President of the United States, which is between 2009 and 2017.

• The book ends with the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011. The book is to be translated into a variety of foreign languages such as Chinese, Polish, Vietnamese, French, German, Hungarian, Hebrew, etc.
• In his novel, the former president listed Ramayana and Mahabharata. He also included his obsession with Mahatma Gandhi. He spoke to Gandhis and BJP as "divisive nationalism."
