CREW1 Mission       
     
SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft will lift off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The spacecraft will carry a crew of four people to the International Space Station (ISS) for a 6-month-long mission.

About Crew-1 mission:
  • The Crew-1 mission is part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program.​​​​​​​
  • The mission's goal is to make access to space simpler in terms of its expense, so that cargo and crew are efficiently transferred from and to the ISS and to allow for greater science study.
  • The Crew-1 mission will be launched by NASA astronauts Shannon Walker, Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Soichi Noguchi from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center.
  • The crew-1 will follow the participants of Expedition 64, currently in residence at the ISS.
  • Crew-1 will be the first successful launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft on the Falcon 9 rocket to the ISS. It is the first of the three planned flights scheduled for 2020-2021.
