INS Kora 

Indian Navy recently test fired the Anti-Ship Missile (AShM) from INS Kora which is a guided missile. The missile was test-fired in the Bay of Bengal and it hit the target ship at maximum range with the precise accuracy.

About INS Kora

• INS Kora was commissioned to Indian Navy in 1998. The corvette was designed by the Indian Navy under Project 25A. It is equipped with Kh-35 anti-ship missiles. There are three warships of Kora-class- INS Kulish, INS Kirch and INS Karmuk.

• Anti-ship missile (AShM) is a guided missile and has been designed for use against ships and large boats.
