The Andhra Pradesh government has released funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, which is a welfare scheme for farmers.
Under the second phase of the scheme, Rs. 4,000 would directly be credited into the bank accounts of each of the 50.47 lakh farmers.
Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 13,500 to the farmers every year.
Rs 13,500 aid also includes Rs 6,000 per year as a component of the Centre’s PM Kisan scheme.
