• The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued scheme guidelines for implementation of Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) programme.
• SIGHT programme is a major financial measure under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
• Its objectives are to maximize production of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives in India, enhance cost-competitiveness of Green Hydrogen and encourage large scale utilization of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives.
• Its Implementing agency is Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
