India has launched Operation Karuna, a mission aimed at providing assistance to Myanmar following the devastation caused by Cyclone Mocha.

• In a display of swift action and solidarity, three Indian Navy ships loaded with crucial relief material reached Yangon, Myanmar.
• They carried emergency food items, tents, essential medicines, water pumps, potable generators, clothes, and sanitary and hygiene items.
