Summit on Green Hydrogen initiatives

• India recently hosted a two-day summit on Green Hydrogen initiatives involving the BRICS nations. 

• The event was anchored by NTPC Ltd., a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power. 

• The virtual summit brought the best brains, policymakers and major stakeholders from the BRICS nations deliberating and discussing at length the future of hydrogen in the energy mix. 

• On the first day of the event, the representatives from each country shared respective initiatives undertaken by their countries on utilisation of hydrogen and their future plans.
