Cross-Disability Early Intervention Centers for children

• The Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment inaugurated 14 Cross-Disability Early Intervention Centres located at 7 National Institutes and 7 Composite Regional Centres. 

• The services provided at the centers will include a screening of children and referral to appropriate rehabilitative care; speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy; parental counseling and training and peer counseling. 

• These centers will also focus on school readiness.
