Ladakh Ignited Minds Project

To provide better educational opportunities for Ladakhi students, the Indian Army has initiated the project Ladakh Ignited Minds: A Centre of Excellence and Wellness.

About the project:

• The project is aimed at providing better training facilities to disadvantaged Ladakhi students to give them the opportunity to study in niche educational institutes.

• The Indian Army has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement the project. The MoU has been signed with HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) and a Kanpur-based NGO called the National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation.

• The project will train forty-five students from Kargil and Leh districts. It will rain twenty girls.

• The project will train the students for JEE and NEET entrance examinations.
