SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket 


• Elon Musk-run SpaceX has launched 60 "Starlink" satellites into low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida that will bring cheaper Internet access to the world.

• The 60 mini-satellites went into space aboard Falcon 9 rocket, ending a nearly three-month launch hiatus for the company.

• SpaceX was the first private company in the world to return rockets back to the earth. Usually, the rockets burn away after putting the satellites in their orbit or simply get thrown away to space adding up space debris.

• SpaceX was actively involved in delivering cargo to the International Space Station.

Note: Under the Starlink project, SpaceX aims to build a constellation of 12,000 satellites. The main objective of the project is to provide space-based internet services at affordable costs.
