Online Grievance Management Portal of NCSC
The Union Minister for Communication and IT & Law & Justice recently launched the “Online Grievance Management portal of NCSC”. NCSC is the National Commission of Scheduled Castes.
About the Portal
The Online Grievance Management Portal will allow submission of complaints about atrocities against the Scheduled Castes. The portal also allows users to track the progress of their complaints.
The portal was developed in collaboration with the Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geoinformatics (BISAG-N), a Centre of Excellence under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY).
National Commission for Scheduled Caste
NCSC was set up under Article 338 of the Constitution of India with the objective to investigate and monitor all issues pertaining to the safeguards provided for the Scheduled Castes under any law for the time being in force or under any order of the Government of India.
The Commission consists of a chairperson, vice-chairperson, and three other members. All the members of the commission are appointed by the President of India.
