World Report on Hearing
The First World Hearing Report was published by the World Health Organization (WHO) on the eve of World Hearing Day on 3rd March.
The report underlines the need to quickly speed up attempts to eliminate and resolve hearing loss by investing and increasing access to hearing and hearing resources.
According to the survey, at least 700 million people will be affected by hearing loss and need attention to the ear and hearing.
The study points out that a billion young people in the 12–35 age range are at risk of hearing loss due to noise pollution in leisure settings.
