Haryana: 75 Percent Private Jobs for Locals

• The Governor of Haryana, Satyadev Narayan Arya, has approved a bill to set aside 75 percent jobs in the private sector for the domiciles of the state.

• Reservation will be made in every company.

• The State Assembly had passed the "Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Bill 2020" in 2020.

• The bill allows for private sector businesses to compulsively reserve 75 percent of positions for employees with a wage of up to Rs. 50,000.
