Green Super Ministry
Italy has put climate change at the forefront of its proposals; therefore, it has set up a super ministry to ensure the transition to renewable energy powers the country's recovery.
The super ministry has been set up with the goal of making full use of European Union funds in the area of climate change.
The recovery plan of Italy has to be handed to the European Commission (the executive branch of the European Union) by April 2021 in order to get more than 200 billion euros ($240 billion) of funds.
