Terrorist Organisation ‘Boko Haram’

• The attack on farm workers in the north-eastern region of Nigeria has left at least 110 dead. The Boko Haram jihadist is guilty of murdering him. Approximately 30 men were decapitated during the assault.

• The event is perceived to be the most brutal assault on innocent people in 2020.

• The assault took place near the capital of Borno, Maiduguri, Nigeria.

About Boko Haram

• Boko Haram was founded on the basis of the values of salafism. The Salafism ideology evolved within the context of Sunni Islam. The revolution has been initiated in reaction to Western European imperialism.

• According to UNICEF, more than 1,000 children have been abducted by Boko Haram since 2013. Boko Haram alone was blamed for killing more than 6,644 people in 2014.

• Boko Haram was founded in 2002 by Muhammad Yusuf.
