Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have a regular 4-year Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. .

Age Limit

The age limit for the post of BPSC AE will be as follows: -

  • General: 38 years
  • Reserved Categories: Age relaxation as per government norms

Language: Knowledge of the Marathi language is mandatory.

Selection Process

The selection process is conducted in three stages:  

  1. Preliminary Examination:
    • Objective-type multiple-choice questions
    • General knowledge and engineering fundamentals
  2. Mains Examination:
    • Two written papers (200 marks each)
    • Only shortlisted candidates from the prelims appear in the mains.
  3. Preliminary Examination:
    • Assesses personality, communication skills, and suitability for the role
    • Final selection based on combined performance in all stages
