Educational Qualification
A candidate must possess a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized institute, or a Degree in Civil Engineering, or have passed AMIE (Section A & B) from the Institution of Engineers (India).

Selection Process
The selection process for JKSSB JE Recruitment 2025 will be done in 2 stages:
- Written Examination: The examination will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions, set in English only. Each wrong answer will be marked negatively to the extent of one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question.
- Document verification: Candidates who are shortlisted for Document Verification will be required to appear for it along with the original documents and a self-attested Photostat copy of each document/certificate/Online application form, as announced by JKSSB.

As per the latest information, the exam pattern for the JKSSB JE 2025 is as follows:
- Question Type: All questions are objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
